How long do you want to ignore this user?
Someone with knowledge of the program and college soccer, please put this spring in perspective for me. Does this indicate that our program is perhaps taking its game to another level? Can we take this as an indication of what we can expect in the fall, or is kind of like the spring football game, fun, but basically meaningless? The win over the Chinese national team and the undefeated record look pretty darn impressive to someone with my limited knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

good spring season...the girls take it all seriously even though it does not count in the standings for anything. We had a young team last year, and they continue to improve.

Oreo makes a good point. I was at the game (by accident really) on Saturday and I did notice that the Ags were going full-speed the entire game as if the outcome had significant meaning. My daughther's team (another Big 12 school) has not played with much intensity this spring. I walked away from the game Saturday thinking, "God, I hope she's ready when they play the Ags this year because A&M is looking awfully fast and strong."

It's a good result as Florida made the tourney last year (exited in the first round) however it is just spring ball. The girls are going to have to really have their act together come fall.

6-8 teams the girls have lined up on their non-conference schedule went to the tourney. Three of those went further than the aggies did. This could be what get's A&M a 1 or 2 seed or, if their record is poor, what gets them a lesser seed.

Have the Currie twins been playing at all or are they still rehabing?

Rollo Tomasi's daughter:

Tara Macdonald
5’10” - Goalkeeper - Austin, Texas
Macdonald was a first team all-district goalkepper for James Bowie High School and played club soccer for the Austin United Capitals. She graduated early from high school and enrolled at OU in January.

Evans on Macdonald: “We were thrilled to get Tara a semester early. She has shown the attitude, work ethic and ability to challenge for the top spot.”

Very limited play by the Currie twins. They are both about 80%.
