Short oval racing is what Indycar does best. You get more wheel to wheel racing and I think there are more opportunities to take alternative racing lines compared to road or street courses. With those expanded choices come added risks which I think makes it a lot more exciting.

When I got into Indycar I only cared about the road and street races because it was the most like F1. Then I got into the month of May because if you're going to follow Indycar, then you need to go all in on the Indy 500. That just left the short ovals so by that point since I'm watching everything else, I may as well watch those too. Little did I know is that is where the entertainment is really at.
