Location: Albuquerque Convention Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Dates: January 31 - February 1
Time: Friday - 3pm, Saturday - 11:30am
TV: FloTrack ($$$)
Other Schools Competing: Alabama, New Mexico, Arizona State, New Mexico, California, UTEP, others

Slowly but surely, we're starting to see what our teams are all about! Each week we're getting stronger, both by improving, and by Aggies making their debut. We got some huge event debuts this weekend.

Led by Aubmad Robinson who's set to run his first 400 of the season! Sam Whitmarsh will be making his season debut in the 600 (which isn't a contested event at Nationals, but any time Sam Whitmarsh is on the track, it's worth the price of admission! Jaqualon Scott will be contesting the 60 hurdles, joining Robinson in the 400 is Hossam Hatib, Cutler Zamzow, and Kimar Farquharson. We'll have all our top jumpers competing, even Aleksandr Solovev!! This is a fast track at altitude so let's hope for a huge meet!!

On the women's side we'll be flexing our strength in the 400 with Jermaisha Arnold, Latasha Smith, and Kennedy Wade all running. Camryn Dickson and Jasmine Montgomery will be running the 60 and 200. NCAA leader Jaiya Covington will contest the 60 hurdles. We'll have all our female top jumpers as well!

This is set to be a fun meet and a meet that is not so competitive. Alabama will have some solid runners, as will Arizona State. However, this is a smaller, relaxed meet where we'll be able to pin our ears back and go all out for PR's on an extremely fast track where lots of athletes PR! Sadly this meet will only be streamed on FloTrack, which is extremely expensive. But I'll keep us updated with the live results!!! Let's go flex on them and show everyone why our men's team is ranked number 1 in the country!

My second edition of Best Dressed to an away meet was a good one! Flying another time zone but not for such a long flight brings the question, shall I travel in style or comfort. For some it's one or the other, for some style is comfort. But as always, when you feel good, you perform good!

On the men's side, we had lots of great looks! Cowboy hats were in this week! Sam Whitmarsh looks ready to make his season debut. If you look in slide 12, not sure if that's Matthew McConaguhey or 800 meter All American Sam Whitmarsh. From the complimentary shades of tan to the stache.

Slide 14, Eric Hemphill pulled out all the stops for his suit a little risky to have your tie the same color as your button down but he pulls it off!

Slide 16, straight out of Hollywood. Demarco Escobar must have gotten off a Harley outside of EB Cushing. From the Prada black leather jacket to the black gloves, he definitely belongs on this list.

On the women's side, slides 7 and 19 showcase our best dressed female athletes. Jade Johnson went with the stunning outfit that provides comfort and style. Bonus points for jacket on the suitcase, cause not only will she be ready for the weather, but she wanted to show off the fit before she got on the bus. Along side Johnson in slide 19, Camryn Dickson pulls off the bold red two piece outfit. Like I mentioned last away meet, most athletes will stick tk neutral colors or school colors, only the bold can pull off such a vibrant color that stands out! Props to both of them for the stylish curls, shout out to the Dyson air wrap! Also an un-shout out for not posting any of our distance athletes heading to Boston. The northern winter air would have provided some stunning outfits.

Also I know I complain about the staff and them doing stuff for us fans, but look at what New Mexico does every meet fkr its athletes! They create a list with all their athletes, the events they'll be competing in, and the times they race. Meanwhile we can't get updated stats on our roster, and on a roster that was the last tk be posted in the country. And if you want to read the most AI generated preview, read whatever the 12th man website write. I wrote more on my best dressed category than they wrote about these meets lol.

Yeah we need to see how they do in Boston tomorrow. They had a pacer in Arkansas, two Razorback transfers went under 1:47. But yeah the 800 is off to a fast start! I don't trust the conference meet, they always play it slow and go for placing rather than time, so hopefully two 800's before that!

But next week at home, we'll need Kimar and Caden to run! Only Miss State has a great 800 guy but he ran 1:45 already so not sure he runs it again till conference! If not we'll need to invite Brandon Miller hopefully Clemson will have a deep field
