It was obvious that they were going to sign Perez. I'm not as sure about Bottas; I think he is the fall back option if there is no obvious rookie to place alongside Perez. Sometimes these things get floated to see who will bite. I could see them taking a shot at Paul Aaron.

Hence my comment earlier on this page. The rumor mill around the Cadillac decisions has been insane with constant posts claiming to be the actual announcement. I'm sure it probably annoys the drivers most of all, since they constantly have to face questions about this that either they don't know or can't answer due to confidentiality.

A lineup like that would be great for sure. They both can build up the team and then they can get a younger driver in 3 years or something around that. Plus they can get a lot of fan$ through Checo lol.

My trip to Europe just got better. Was able to snatch a McLaren hot lap for Sunday at Monza. Hopefully I get Piastri or Alex Dunne driving lol.

All about F1 Academy in Zandvoort, then F2 paddock saturday and hot lap sunday at Monza.
