Like the branding of naming it the Texas High School Indoor Championships!

Wish they did a better job of branding the outdoor meet! I understand bluebonnet relays, but why not include Texas A&M in it

I just emailed Josh Lockhart, Sr. Team Administrator and he said the rosters would be posted by Friday.

Thanks for reaching out to him, but that's still a pathetic answer. Every other track program can have a roster up months and months before the first track meet, but we'll do it the day of. How sad. What are we hiding, Arkansas and Florida and Georgia have collected so much talent, us hiding a roster isn't going to do anything… how do they want fans to care if they could care less about us.

It's meet week! Get excited! Even though we don't have a roster, we don't know who's gonna race, we're just supposed to sit back and cheer

I think the rosters might be up on tfrrs.org - not sure but you can check to ensure this is up to date.

Nope, you'll only find every other roster in the country, not Texas A&M. I check their multiple times a day because our staff doesn't care about their fans and won't post anything…

Men's roster is being uploaded on tfrrs, no surprises at all so far, unless changes will be made to it throughout the week. Athletes have 2 weeks to register for classes I believe. Nothing crazy on the roster, Issam Asinga is not listed, some walk ons aren't on the roster. As we know, Aleksandr Solovev is listed thankfully, as is jumper Khybah Dawson! 13 new additions from last year from both the transfer portal and freshman.

Additions
Ernest Campbell - 100, 200, 4x100
Gavin Champ - Triple Jump
Khybah Dawson - Long Kump
Iliya Dryaba - 100, 200, 4x100
Hossam Hatib - 200, 400, 4x400
Blake Holland - 100, 200, 4x100
Jesse Imemba - High Jump
Thomas Jackman - Throws
Mason Mangum - Long Jump, 4x100
Antonie Nortje - 200, 400, 4x400
Jayson Shield - Triple Jump
Nico Signorelli - Pole Vault
Alexsandr Solovev - Pole Vault

As we noted in the summer, Pat Henry went out and added even more 400 runners, because why not! The reigning 4x400 national champions will only be stronger. Jevon O'Bryant is out of eligibility but we return Auhmad Robinson, Cutler Zamzow, Jaqualon Scott, Kimar Farquharson, Eric Hemphill, Demarco Escobar, Bryce McCray, and now add Antonio Nortje and Hossam Hatib who have PR's of 45.05 and 45.12 respectively, so the competition for our 4x400 squad will be intense! But what I love the most is that maybe if affords the opportunity for Jaqualon Scott to focus on the hurdles! Either way 4x400 will provide massive points!

There was also an emphasis on adding jumpers to the mix! I was hoping Ushan Perera had more eligibility, but I suppose not. We added the junior college national champion in Khybah Dawson who's gone 25'8 and Mason Mangum of Cal who's gone 25'7 to go with John Baker who's gone over 26. Triple jump wise we added Gavin Champ who's gone 51'4, and freshman Jaydon Shields who's right under 50 to pair with Jayden Harris. We also add Jesse Imemba one of the top high jump recruits in the nation, who went 7'0.75 in high school. One of the key additions is Alexsandr Solovev who has vaulted 19'1 in the pole vault and will be an immediate contributor to national championship points! Pole Vault returns Jack Mann, Leo Bowen, Ryley Klefstad, and adds Nico Signorelli!

Sprints wise, we will have the numbers to actually field a 4x100 team this year. It'll be hard to compete at the top of the podium, but a pool of Devantae Mount, Jordan Chopane, Isaiah Teer, Pierre Goree, Keanu Jones, to go with freshman Blake Holland, Iliya Dryaba, and Ernest Campbell will be leaps and bounds better than last year. We won't get points individually in the 100/200, but a strong relay could get us on the board!

800 wise, Sam Whitmarsh can and will be expected to contribute points! He had a long long season last year so hopefully he eases into competition level again smoothly! Same with Kimar Farquharson, both can score. But don't forget about Caden Norris, he had a healthy year and hopefully a healthy offseason, so he could be coming back the strongest he's ever been and he can get into the scoring conversation without a doubt! With these 3 to go with Luca Santorum, Cooper Cawthra, and Ondrej Gajdos we are still 800U

Distance wise, we have to hope Victor Kibiego is healthy. If so, he can score at a national meet, even as distance across the country is improving! Him, as well as, Cooper Cawthra didn't run in cross country so hopefully they're healthy now. Cooper and Gajdos can make regionals and fight for a national spot in the 1500. Chung is a great steepler as well and I hope he gets to run it often in his last year because he too can get to regionals! Our redshirt freshman and sophomores distance wise had an amazing cross country season! And don't forget Luca Santorum who was a monster at the NAIA level in the 800 and 1500! I expect us to field a strong DMR as well!

Throws wise, Sam Hankins is back in the javelin and Ethan Sanders in the discus. Hankins has scored before so I hope he's healthy and ready to let some javelin fly! Ethan Sanders has been improving every single year in the discus so I'm expecting a huge year for him!

Multi wise, we have Blake Harris who is coming off a strong second season and I expect him to have an even better year this year!

So yeah, that's a little preview into what we have on the roster this season! Obviously as the season goes along I'll provide more detail and info! But we race in a few days and I am excited beyond measure!!! Gig'em Aggies!!!! I love track and field!

17 additions to the women's side so far!! Some big losses on the women's side are Lamara Distin, Timara Chapman, Lianna Davidson, Joniar Thomas, Bailey Goggans, Jaydan Wood, and Semira Killebrew. That's a lot of scoring to replace. It looks like we added some depth to the sprinting crew with Bria Bullard of Baylor and Jazmine Montgomery of Florida. They'll join Camryn Dickson on the relay with Leah Burr. Latasha Smith joins Jermaisha Arnold and Kennedy Wade in the 400. We also added a strong multi in Iakushina from Russia who's already gone over 6000 and we hope she can go even higher!! Cherono didn't enroll in the fall, but hopefully she'll be here for track, she can potentially score in the 1500!

Transfers
Winny Bii - Triple Jump
Bria Bullard - 100, 200, 4x100
Victoria Kadiri - Long Jump, Triple Jump
Jasmine Montgomery - 100, 200, 4x100
Madison Murray - Heptathlon
Latasha Smith - 200, 400, 4x400

Freshman
Katherine Brunson - Distance
Debora Cherono - Distance
Milena Chevallier - High Jump
Yierra Flemings - 400 Hurdles, 400, 4x400
Mercy Freeman - Heptathlon
Penelope Gracey - Distance
Sofia Iakushina - Heptathlon
San Juanita Leal - Distance
Staucie Lees - Distance
Tyler Lowe - 400, 4x400

I thought Joniar Thomas had another year of eligibility but I suppose not! Bailey Goggans isn't listed on the roster, neither is Jaydan Wood. Those are tough losses. Jada Campos and Laila Hackett aren't on the team anymore either, that's rough to see that 4x100 depth gone. We don't have many short sprinters on the women's side so I hope they stay healthy. We don't the number of 400 runners we've had in the past, so we'll need to stay healthy and hope the freshman like Lowe or Flemings come along quickly! Surprised we didn't add an 800 runner or another 400 runner losing Lianna Davidson to Georgia is going to hurt so much. I'm not as confident on the women's side, but I'll wait to see how it all plays out. Arkansas is just so overpowering to everyone else and we didn't add enough to cover what we lost. Hopefully there's more additions coming to the roster

Jaydan Wood did take media day pics so I don't know why they don't have her on the tfrrs roster

Laila Hackett is now with Ohio State

I was hoping that with the delay (or failure) to post the rosters that there would be some surprise transfers or international signings, and maybe there still could be, but if the track and field staff made us wait for nothing… then it's either laziness on their part or they don't care about us fans.

After seeing the roster it's nothing we didn't know already. One thing for sure, Coach Henry is intent on winning the mile relay again and we will.

Oh absolutely!!! We'll go easily under 3:00! It'll be a matter of how under! All 4 should be able to go under 45. Robinson, Hattib, and Nortje will be huge, now it all comes down who will be the 4th! Farquharson may be able to save his legs for the 800 and Scott for the 110/400 hurdles, so I'm happy with the depth! We can have a B team score points!
