as a throws coach, I get more nervous than my own track kids lol! 2 of mine that made it to state this year got their best throw on the first attempt and I had to sit there as every other thrower threw and it is so hard to sit there waiting, but ultimately when it goes your way it's one of the best feelings in the world!! Sanders had such great improvement this season! That's a testament to him and his work ethic!! You love to see that in this sport!!SATX_Howdy said:

You got that right. Ethan has improved and competed in about every meet if not all. That's how you do it. Competition brings out your best. For me, the more the better.

There is a protest from USC on an early called foot foul. A&M has counter protested. Now we wait. Frustrating!
Wow! That is very upsetting! Usually an initial protest gets overturned, so I'm surprised!
That's what I thought too. So we filed two protesters - both the foot foul and his mark.

The emotional rollercoaster is enough to put this dad in the ground. It's one thing to not throw well enough, but to have a good day and then sit there and watch and then celebrate only to have the rug ripped away hours later?? Praying that's not the case.
