I wonder if nascar tries to save face and let Bell and Byron move on.

They would have the telemetry data and know what Bell's accelerator was doing.

This is exactly what just crossed my mind.

Or they DQ Bell and Byron and let Larson through.

You can't let 5 in. The other 3 who made it would ***** to high hell that an extra guy is in. No

And to top it off it looked like Trump just did a live ad.

I think they are going to DQ Bell because of the illegal wall ride.

All the other stuff is hard to prove. The Bubba ole. Byron being a great blocker, etc.

Lol such an amazing race too. The last 150 laps were great.

Throw them both out and put Kyle Larson in.

Did Bubba give that spot to Bell on top of everything else?

You could hear him hammer the accelerator from the in car audio.

Radio and our eyeballs prove the 1 and 3 were blocking for the 24. I would eliminate Bryon too but that's probably too far.

Will pull for Blaney or Reddick to win it.

Gluck's idea is good.

Nascar needs to clarify their rules for race manipulation and stipulate radio silence about positions for drivers not involved in the final 4 in this last race. That's the least they can do.

Wonder if those teams get fines for actions detrimental

The thing is, Bell didn't have to ride the rim. Once Bubba rolled over, Bell was in. There wasn't anyone but Bubba to give a spot back to and Bubba already made his bed.

Man, what a bunch of bull crap. It looks worse from in-car than it did on TV. They didn't even try to hide what they were doing.

Hard to believe these days that an RCR car would protect a Hendrick Car. I guess Chevy got involved.

Listening to the radio this morning.

Everyone is ecstatic with how the car/tires made the racing so good.

Everyone to a man is disgusted with all the BS between the 1/3/24 and 23/20. I think listening and reading between the lines that nobody would have been angry if both teams had been DQed. People are madder at the 1/3/24 and manufacturer stuff. Dillon's audio is really damning.

That was the shame of it all - we were set for an epic finish and the manipulation BS ruined it

Don't make it too obvious. At Phoenix the 24 fails tech with unapproved parts and has to start at the rear of the field. Then they get caught speeding on pit lane. That's how this would go done years ago.

Antitrust injunction hearing today. Totally, forgot 23XI bought charters from SHR.

https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nascar/what-know-latest-about-nascar-antitrust-lawsuit
Quote:

Attorneys for both sides sparred during the 70-minute preliminary injunction hearing. The judge said he hoped to rule by Friday, Nov. 8.

Jeffrey Kessler argued that 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick, who is in the hunt for the Cup championship, and the team's sponsors could leave if they are not allowed to run as a charter team while pursuing the lawsuit.

Even if they are an open team, they need an injunction, Kessler said, because the open agreement teams must sign releases NASCAR of antitrust claims. Although they have signed the agreements in the past, which NASCAR argued implies their consent, Kessler argued that the injunction focuses on the stipulation in a contract they have not signed (the 2025 charter and/or open agreements).
Quote:

NASCAR attorney Chris Yates said 23XI has sophisticated ownership with Michael Jordan as a co-owner and by competing in NASCAR, the teams can't enjoy the benefits of being a charter team which he said includes about 50 percent of NASCAR's television revenues going to Cup teams while making antitrust claims. And if the teams prevail, Yates said monetary damages can be calculated, so therefore an injunction is not needed.

I wish I could say I'm frustrated with what we saw yesterday, but it's been going on for more than a decade and nothing new. NASCAR has never tried to stop manufacturer cross team alliances so why should we demand they do now?

As a Gordon fan I'll never forget the "slugger, turn it to channel 2" call to Menard's crew chief, then listen to Menard's acting job about thinking a tire is going down while he cleanly spins across the front stretch allowing teammate Harvick to get caught up and pull out a win on the restart.

There was a Dale Earnhardt win at Talladega in the late 1990s when an also-ran Kenny Wallace hooked onto Earnhardt's bumper to push him through the field to a win. Wallace's owner and Richard Childress had an agreement to share technical data that spilled onto the track (it was called RAD for Richard Childress-Andy Petree-Dale Earnhardt). Helping someone win is one thing.

I don't know where the line is, but two cars blocking traffic for ten laps to help a clearly inferior car advance in the playoffs might be crossing that line
Bunk Moreland

Right. Hell Dale died blocking so the cars he owned (Waltrip and dale jr) could stay 1/2 for the finish at Daytona.

Blaney (but I hope it's Reddick)
Custer
Enfinger

Though I think Blaney is going to do it, I'm pulling for the chaos of 23XI winning a championship while suing NASCAR.
