watched much of this match. very disappointing result. hard to go into enemy territory and win, but we consistently lose the doubles point unfortunately. singles, on this day, was just listless at best.

Yeah, this as not a good loss. I think #8 may be a little high for the men.
This team can beat anyone but can can also lose to anyone too. This team is very emotionally driven. You can see when they are mentally in it vs not.
Oklahoma is overrated as are we. Both top 20 teams, but some days are better than others

I agree with this. If we were a bit more consistent in doubles I'd give us a chance to advance pretty deep. Roddick at 2 is a difference maker honestly. There's a fine line between being overly emotional and using the emotions positively in your favor.

I think you see the emotions most from Roddick, Togac, and Perego. If those three are mentally strong, then we are strong. But again, emotions dictate their play. Both singles and doubles

We lost 3 Singles Matches where we won the first Set, at home. That smarts.

Supposedly they sat Giulio out because he would have surpassed his season match limit with the newly added Memphis match on Tuesday. I'm sure the thought was Memphis is better than Arkansas so save him.
Now the Memphis match has been cancelled. Head scratcher for sure.
So the unofficial reason for the Memphis cancellation is "rain".
The real reason is they scheduled Tulsa, SMU, and A&M in a 5 day span.
