I was reading on X that if UCLA beats tOSU today in the Big 10 championship, we could jump to 16 and host.

UCLA is leading in all doubles currently

Ehhhhh, I think that eye for talent hasn't been 20/20 like you think. If we would have had Filip and JC, really good team. The last 4 years though, questionable

Rice wins the doubles point.

When we played Rice earlier this year, Rice won the doubles point and we won all 6 singles matches. I hope it plays out similarly again.

Ags beat Rice 4-2.

We play Baylor on Sunday. I'd make Baylor the favorite. They are ranked like 17 or 18. Even though we have the 16 seed, I'd call that a combination of playing like number 8-10 with JC and around 24 after his injury.

Theo wins the final point in a three setter on court 1. Was that his first time clinching a 4-3 win for the Ags?

Wake Forest has been a dominant team this year. They are the overall 1 seed in this tournament. 36-1 this year with wins over TCU, Texas, Ohio State, Virginia, Stanford, and NC State. Their only blemish is 4-3 loss to Virginia.

Great weekend of Tennis at Mitchell. Worth noting that the clinchers for both Aggie men's and women's teams were freshman. Lots to look forward to but enjoying watching both teams continue.

This was a great win. We played doubles about as well as we have played in a long time. Alan on line two was huge. Theo is so good. Great third set. Baylor has a really good team. On to Wake Forest !

The Baylor player at Number 1 singles is 6'7". Great win by the team to validate the 16-seed. Looking at the tennis team stats our Number 6 player Damien Salvestre had only played in 2 matches this year and was 0-2. Now he's 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament. Steve Denton is a great coach!

Does Alan have eligibility?!

The path for playing time next year is slim for all of them except Alan. I'm sure they have a foreigner or transfer coming in to build the lineup. Next years team. If healthy, could make a run

It appears Steve has brought on Alex Frusina from Conroe who played primarily at number 2 line at Auburn. Two strong additions through the portal.

Wow, that was a huge loss when he went to Auburn. He was supposed to be an A&M lean.

Do we think Theo returns for a second season or goes pro? We're building a special team next year, but I have doubts with the fire power we're bringing in
