The way he initially flubbed it, I thought "more of the same from Pavs" but he totally redeemed himself with his work in front of the net. He's struggling but showed he still has a little gas left in the tank.

Pavelski is a hockey genius. I hope he sticks around as a player/coach for the league minimum next year. Someone will likely pay him $3M or so though on an incentive based contract. I would bring Kiviranta back before overpaying him. Kiviranta is super smart and responsible.

If the Vancouver Canucks eliminate the Edmonton Oilers tonight, believe the Western Conference Final begins Tuesday with the East starting Wednesday. If they go to a Game 7 on Monday, it’ll start Thursday.

3 days off vs 5 days off for the Dallas Stars, depending on who wins.

If the Stars win the Cup, I imagine he retires. I don't think Dallas will bring him back as a player, and his family and kids are very ingrained in the DFW scene. I imagine he retires and takes a front-office/coaching role or moves into golf.

Is think Pavs is done done. I don't think Nill would bring him back even for minimum. Bourque NEEDS to be in the 12 forwards, plus we could use money to elsewhere. I could make the argument Blumel needs to be here too.

I am changing my vote to Canucks. Oilers are dangerous and has the skill to exploit any defensive weaknesses.

We scored 4 or 5 goals against them in every game. We went 2-1. We beat them 5-0 in our only game after the Tanev trade.
We were also 2-1 against Vancouver, with a 3-0 win after the Tanev trade.
