Austin Krajicek former Texas A&M tennis great is in the doubles finals of the French Open. I believe if he wins the championship, he will become the number one ranked doubles player in the world. Huge shout out to Krajicek and let's go!

Grant Connell (lefty player from the 80s) had a very similar career arc as Austin. Grant was ranked #1 in doubles in 1993 and won 22 doubles titles. He reached a singles ranking of 67 and nearly beat Andre Agassi at Wimbledon in 1991. Currently, Austin has 9 titles and a high singles ranking of 94.
Grant was a 4 time grand slam doubles finalist, but he never won one. I really hope Austin does this year at the French!
