Henry usually builds his entire track team around the 4x400 when we are lacking there, we are not a good team! Steeple and some throws helped us out big on the guys side! And we probably barely give any scholarship money to those events! Although Pole Vault scored great as well!

Post SEC meet A&M 5/13/2023 A&M women have 7 top ten entries potentially heading to 1st Round in Sacramento; pending closing of championship meets tomorrow and scratches. Abadie is 11th as of tonight.

Part of the reason in my opinion is that coach Henry doesn't like the NIL development and What other university would demolish a venue ( indoor track) prior to building a new venue. We weren't able to host indoor or outdoor meets this year due to construction.

We need to move on and play by the same rules as the other schools. We will never compete again until we decide to play the game.

Clearly the so called institutional scholarship program of certain schools and the NIL rules which vary by state really puts Texas schools at a disadvantage.

That may be the case for some, but unfortunately tu is about to win a national championship on the women's side and it's not even going to be close.

Both men and women did better than the pre SEC seedings.

The women was expected to finish 5th with 69 points but ended up 3rd with 86 points

The men was expected to finish 6th with 64 points but ended up 5th with 73 points even ahead of Florida who finished 6th.
We could have score may 6 or more points in the 110 hurdles if Schulman didn't crash into one of the hurdles and another possible 10 points if Ushan was able or compete in the high jump. The men have been unranked all season and not expected to score at NCAA but let's see how much more improvement they can achieve in two weeks time

You are right about tu and don't forget about ttu on the men's side.as they will be in the mix for a championship.Nothing seems to be slowing down those 2 Texas teams. Right now they are much better than A&M.
