I read the post a few times. These are my observations. Again we have only one side of the story as obviously the coach would not put out a response in the public domain. I am not saying that these things happen or not. I am just dissecting the post that he put out.
He mentioned that these are text messages between he and Mallard. Yet I saw no messages from Coach Mallard
A lot of the post I am still confused about. There is a lot that is not clear
1. He wanted to get you to nationals for a pay check bonus but scoffed at him at the expression of records and said it is not possible. Very confusing. If I am to get you to national then there must be a possibility of breaking records?
2. Slandering the name of the head coach and wishing illness and death on the head coach? Is this our head coach? Did you report this before?
3. No wonder the best athletes leave Texas A&M team. It seems here he is equating this experience he receive to the experience of others who have left. (800m athletes).
4. He understands the hate from teammates he might receive. Why would teammates hate you if this your allegations are true and they are aware of it?
5. He copied ncaa, flosports, aggie track, ncaa track athletes etc in his post. Did formal complaints sent to the NCAA etc. If so there is no need to tag them in your post.
6. You said the police are now involved along with compliance at Texas A&M. Then why did you sent out this post. Let the investigation take its natural course. Why are you pre-empting public judgement while an investigation is being done as you say.
7. He accused the staff of wrong medical diagnosis putting him out for three months of training. I am sure there is evidence and details of whether this is true
I honestly believe this post was geared to the harm the entire track program. The mere fact you said you will get hate from your teammates you were therefore out to destroy the track team. There are ways to handle things like this and if the police are involved then keep quiet and let the investigation proceed.
