Interesting too is our Pole Vaulters are entered in the 100m.

No James Smith and Kirk Collins in the 400m hurdles. Bryce McCray does make his 400m hurdle debut.

Women's 4x100 - Jania Martin, Leeah Burr, Camryn Dickson, Jaiya Covington
Interesting Line up. Maybe Semira Killebrew is not there although she is entered in the 100m.

Men's 4x100 - DeVante Mount, Ryan Martin, Isaiah Teer, Jordan Chopane.
This line up is as expected

Bryce Foster is entered in both shot put and discuss

Other athletes not entered in the relays are
Ally Andress
Camille Rutherford
GG Edwards
Usan Perera
Ishmel Williams

Did y'all see The Islandrelays Instagram page where they introduced A&M? They said we were from Larado Texas and founded in 1970! They also congratulated the Arizona Razors for winning the SEC indoor track championships.
Yes…..you read that right….they included a picture of the Arkansas Razorbacks with the post!! LOL

That's pretty funny! Although way off, I applaud the effort they are putting into this and making foreign athletes feel welcome! They are putting on a show

We kick things off this morning at 10am with the women's javelin! We return two All Americans in Lianna Davidson and Katelyn Fairchild! I expect these two to continue to improve this season as sophomores and contend to score at nationals! Davidson looks like she transformed her body and put in lots of work in the weight room so I'm excited to see her improvements! However I'm not sure if they'll use a short approach to compete today! Also throwing the javelin are Coach De La Garza's daughters and heptathlete Joniar Thomas!

Shortly thereafter is the men's javelin led by Sam Hankins who missed all of 2022 with an injury. He made nationals as a freshman in 2021! So I hope and pray he's healthy and can get back to normal! Julian Stoicoviclu will return as well after a solid season last year! Also competing will be the strong trio of freshman de athletes, Landon Helms, Blake Harris, and making his Aggie debut Thatcher Frankfather

Last year 3/18/2022 100m Camryn Dickson ran 11.89 at Texas Southern Relays.
Her base traiining has her stronger and faster by .25 sec. Hope to see a good transition through
outdoor to another PR.

Jermaisha Arnold hit outdoor personal best 23.38 eclipsing her previous personal best by .2 sec which she attained last April.at Tom Jones(Florida). She is well above pace from last year and appears to be stronger and faster comparatively. Hoping she continues to show improvement unto eclipsing her new absolute 400m PR (last week) 51.7 as she is on pace to do so.

Jania's outdoor PB was achieved also. 52.56. She actually split 52.5 on the collegaite 4x400 indoor 1st leg when she ran with Mu and I noted that was her absolute PB. For all of her injuries she has never run better and is on pace to dip into the 51s in her final campaign.

outdoor open legs========Expected outdoor splits:
Jania=====52.5==========51.6 open
Kennedy==51.8==========50.3
Jermaisha =51.2==========49.8
Tierra ====50.8==========49.5
=====================_______
=====================3:21.2 new A&M record/ podium candidate/ fastest ever in NCAA
... but I think two other teams will run faster. but good job girls!!
