We signed some amazing athletes this past class I thought we'd have a thread to recognize their results! We all saw Issam Assinga and Kai Graves Blanks blow up indoors! Asinga ran a 6.59 in the 60! Wow! Well Areyvon Davis just ran a 13.47 in the 110 hurdles and was on a high school relay who went 40.4 in the 4x100! Laila Hackett is an early Tx #1 with an 11.72! And same for Carlie Weiser who threw a 46'10! I'm a big fan of high school track and will post how our recruits do week after week!

Where is Nita Koom-Dadzie headed? Absolute no-brainer to nag a sprinter like that. Probably could be a top level long-jumper too.

She'll have to decide which one she wants to go for at area and regionals. The 3200 is probably a better bet, but I don't even know if sub 10:30 will make it in that region.

...and I'm no recruiter, but given the training differences in the 400-800 and the 1500-5K distances, athletes who can put up numbers across the board would seem to be in high demand. Seems like they would be able to dominate once they choose a focus area. I'm pretty sure that Mu would be a fantastic XC runner if that's what she wanted.

She is going to break some records before! 100 points more with those results and she makes nationals as a high schooler! Imagine how she will look in a year! She could possibly score 4400-4500
At the Texas Distance Festival signees Jack Johnston and Carter Gordy ran 14:39 and 14:45 for the 5k which is crazy fast for high schoolers. Eric Casarez's fastest 5k in high school was 14:38! Big time runs!
We should also be on state record watch as Carlie Wesier is about a foot away from Olympic Gold medalist Micheele Carter's shot put state record! Carter threw 54'10, Weiser is at 53'2! Would be fun if she breaks it in Austin next weekend!
