Ushan Perera did make the trip! He will face the highest ranked jumper in the nation tomorrow! We will be in for a treat even if he takes it easy! 7'2 and above would be perfect!
I know we lose Plain, Santoro, and Abell! But with promising freshman in Fontenot and Little, to go with Buckley, Goddard (healthy), Livingston, Nelson, Rodriguez, as well as Shewaye Johnson and Maddie Jones! Can't wait to see them continue to grow this track season! We saw Plain and Chung emerge last track season and excel in cross, let's see who emerges this year!taylorswift13 said:
Rough day for our female jumpers! Hopefully Lamara and Bara save the day tomorrow!!
Running by themselves, Kennady Fontenot and Katelyn Buckley won the 5k running 17:38 and 17:47! Buckley with a solid indoor/outdoor PR and Fontenot with a STRONG 5k debut for a freshman running indoors for 25 laps lol and running by herself! She's gonna be great! And fellow freshman Emma Little runs a 5:01 mile! 6 second PR from her high school outdoor PR! Wow!
High jumper Ishmel Williams also made the trip and will be making his Indoor debut this season. Not sure what kind of shape he in coming back from his injurytaylorswift13 said:
