Don't let it get to you. From your posting history, I get the sense that you are related to, or at least close to, a current player, in which case I can certainly understand your reaction. But just keep in mind that this is a fan site and most fans just want to win and don't know players or coaches personally. So it's easy to come here and vent. This thread is actually mild compared to the boards of other sports....and is no different than any fan site of other schools.

Who are you? TSwift is one of the true fans who wants the best for TAMU. You're allowed to crack a few jokes on here. Considering you don't contribute to volleyball, I think it would be ok if you don't come back. We all want the best for this university. The best university Texas has to offer.

This is a fan site. People come from all over from different backgrounds. Some know volleyball, others are just casual fans. Most are good contributors. Some are highly critical but that's just the nature of the beast.

Probably a wise thing for any parent, relative, friend of a current player in any sport to stay off the boards.

@NoMas, ever since you started posting here, you've been stirring things up. I can't tell if it is on purpose or you are completely unaware of what you are doing... beats me. I think you can contribute to our discussions but know that you are rubbing people the wrong way.

And btw way, volleyball fans of this program are far and few between, and I'm one of the biggest ones who watched every serve of every game, and was always one of the loudest members of the student sections since I enrolled in 2017… and I'm here every year trying to engage others and push others to become fans of this sport and engage in fan discussions on a board, no one wants to see this program succeed more than me! You'll find me on every board rooting for the success of this school. I was a first gen Aggie and first gen college student, I fell in love with this school and these sports teams, nobody bleeds maroon more than I do…

And after 3 garbage seasons, we are desperate! We are desperate for change, we are desperate for wins, we are desperate for relevancy. This program has become a consistent name at the bottom of the rankings and hasn't come close to the tournament where we consistently belong. We aren't even a top 5 program in this state, we have been out recruited, out hustled, our coached, out played, out talented for years. Texas is one of the best programs in the country, Baylor is dominant, we probably get destroyed by Rice and Houston in a sweep, and we are currently ranked behind Texas schools, like Texas State, Stephen F Austin, SMU, UT f'n RGV, and just ahead of Tech and UTEP… like wow you wanna defend that. I love this program and always will but I'm not a POS for complaining, you might as well insult as all one by one then because no one should be satisfied with the state of this program! We deserve more.

After your idiotic claim that the bench players dominate the starters we all know who you are and how you feel! The stats don't lie, we are a below average team and we have below average players. Your feelings may be hurt at that statement but who gives a crap about your feelings, that's the problem with this university, we spend all our energy trying to be the good person and we harness this soft culture where other teams just play to kick us in the mouth. We are one of the best universities, with the best resources, and best talent state, we deserve to win! Sorry if winning will hurt your feelings! If it does then GTFO here! Completely hating on the one person who actually keeps the volleyball narrative going?! Seriously?! TSwift isn't overly negative and has, in fact, been pretty tame. The fact of the matter is this team hasn't been good and Bird has completely underachieved, particularly given the fact that we live in the most talent-rich vball state in the country. We should be a perennial Top 20 team at the very least. We could really use a vball only facility. Watching a game at Gregory vs Reed is like watching a baseball game at Wrigley vs. the Astrodome. Just no comparison. But, I'm not going to hold my breath. Hopefully, we can get an established coach in here (like Volpe at Rice), who will recruit the State well, hit the transfer portal hard, and get us on the winning track.

I was wondering where in the heck those comments came from bc @taylor is awesome! Great fan and great board contributor! If you haven't ever seen the Track&Field site...well, taylor and taylor alone keeps us up to date on recruits, times, etc. Love interacting with him/her (sorry, I really don't know lol)!

you're obviously someone that is close to the coach and I know getting fired is difficult. I do feel empathy for her in that regard.

But the bottom line is that she just didn't do very well and did not deserve to keep the job. As far as recruits and players going with her, I hope we hire someone that is actually a great recruiter and will be excited about having the open scholarships.
