Game 5 was a huge hurdle and we cleared it, Vegas is going back to Dallas after getting outplayed in the last 2 games, stars captain is returning, bandwagon fans will probably jump back on. Win game 6 and this ****er is tied. Stars have the momentum. Lets ****ing go.

Vegas needed the win tonight and they didn't get it. The Stars have a real shot now. Monday night at the AAC is going to be electric. Was listening to the Vegas XM broadcast and there is some real doubt creeping in now. You could hear it from their coach too in the post-game.
Rebound chances are there against their goalie for us and they only trust their 1st line now. Force a game 7 and see what happens.

Ok, so I wasn't going to go that far, but I did remark that I felt like the team was vibing right now and wondered how they would do without Benn in the next game. Or, with the adjustments they have made on D, will our scoring be higher with the Captain on the first line making the opportunities into goals.
I'm just here to say how much I love Pavs and the positive effect he has had on the young guys with this club.
I think everything will be fine. Jamie brings better hands and finishing ability around net (which was needed last night), and he's possibly the best individual in this series on face-offs (which again, we really needed at times last night). No clue who's going to come out, but I'd think it's Olofsson even though I really like the ways he's played overall.

I completely agree. And yes, Olaffson has been doing really well and has a fire in his belly. Can't wait for next game!

I just can't see that happening, and I see where you are coming from, because I too don't think he's been as good as he can be in this playoffs, but I still think he helps the team a lot with his physicality and puck handling at times. The Seguin/Marchment combo will probably need to be looked at this offseason because I don't think it works and both have suffered because of it.
Before last night the argument could've been made the guys to come out were Glendening or Dellandrea, and they still might, but right now I'd think it's Olofsson. I personally love what I've seen from Olofsson, but I think it's a pretty bad message to your team if you take out Delly or Glendening after last night (and I say this as someone who doesn't think Delly or Glendening are very useful outside of Glendenings face off ability).

I took my family to two different playoff games this year; one against the Kraken, and one against Vegas. Stars won both.
We enjoy going down to the ice to watch the players warm up. Both games we managed to grab a warm-up puck that fell between the netting and the glass. My granddaughter gave hers to a little boy that was watching with his father………….Here he is banging on the glass with the puck.

After reading some articles and looking at some stats, maybe there is a legit conversation to taking Marchment out of the lineup. He's quite possibly been the worst statistical player this series. Maybe you let him have a few games to collect himself.

I think the issue is Marchment. As has already been said, he hasn't been playing well in a while. He's also known to take bad penalties. Seguin looked darn good on that top line during the Minnesota series. He and Domi would be much better served with someone other than Marchment.

Whatever the stats might be saying, Seguin has had a good playoff and imo has been effective against Vegas
