Some of you guys are acting like cowards,
2 out of the next 3 are at home. In game 5, we would be playing in a building that we were tied in after 60 minutes of regulation hockey BOTH GAMES. Hell in game 2 we dominated like 50 minutes of the game in Vegas.
Suter and his lapse will forever go down as a ****up just as big as Nellie Cruz in right field for the rangers in St. Louis. Vegas was about to pull their goalie. If we win that game, then maybe benn doesn't feel the need to pull that **** and we would only be down 2-1 maybe.
Game 4 is all about pride and showing the world what kind of man you are. If I was on a team that just lost 3 in a row, I'd be trying my hardest not to get swept and embarrassed. I know the chances of coming back are very low, but let's at least win the last game on home ice and give the fans a show.

I am starting Otter. I don't want my young franchise goal-tender ending the season on getting yanked in the first five minutes of a playoff game AND THEN getting benched for the following game. Leaves a really sour taste going into the offseason. If he gets yanked again so be it, but at least he's not pissed off riding pine going into the offseason and left sitting there thinking he should've played.

Mavrik Bourque has been recalled. Doesn't necessarily mean he'll play, but I'd love to see it. Give him a taste of playoff hockey and set him up to hopefully make the big squad next season.
He and Stankoven will really help transform our forward group moving forward.

Stankoven should slot in on the second line immediately. He's one of the best prospects, drafted or undrafted, in hockey. Bourque has a tougher road to hoe because of the depth we have at C, and he is a true C, but he should also improve this team. Very curious as to why they called him up, though.

Probably just insurance against an unexpected illness/injury. They're likely just being careful. If nothing else, he'll get to be around the team (hopefully for more than just tonight).
I agree, he has a tougher path to the NHL, but I'm assuming Domi won't be back (not based on anything other than chatter that he loves/loved Chicago and they're about to draft Bedard). Much like Domi, he's more of a creator than a pure goal scorer so he could fill that hole. But he may be stuck until Faksa's contract expires or gets traded.
Stankoven will be up for sure and he could always play out of the C position. Either way, I'm really excited to see him in a Stars uni.

We're not sitting in our normal section tonight, so I have 2 tickets available. Section 111, Row H. I have them listed for $235 but can remove the listing, if anyone wants them.
We have 7 forwards who aren't under contract for next year, only one of which is restricted (Dellandrea) with the remainder UFAs. I fully expect Dellandrea will be back. Domi and Dadonov are both UFAs and I would expect we try to keep Dadonov as he'll be cheaper and likely accept a shorter term deal than Domi. This leaves 1 roster spot to fill.FWAppraiser said:

The other guys are all 4th line or 13th forward types. I bet we bring back Kivi and/or Glendenning while letting Gardner and Olofsson go.
Let's just say we have 3 forwards who are currently on the roster that aren't coming back. I think you bring up both Mavrik and Stanky to bring a little offensive punch to the middle/bottom 6 and add one cheap veteran who can play 4th line minutes or be the 13th forward.

Man,I really want Domi to choose us. I love him and Marchment, and I love how he immediately took up for the team and doesn't back away from standing up for his teammates.
I feel like Marchmi/Domchment could be the new 2nd or 3rd line power couple.

Hopefully the NHL raises the cap substantially this year. We need to keep Domi and add two quality defenseman.
They're having discussions to raise it more than the previously projected $1M increase. But I doubt it will be substantially more than that, unfortunately.
Bourque and Lundqvist were skating with the healthy scratches. We may see an 11 forward/7 defenseman lineup tonight, with Miller joining the 6 from game 3. No fun and not good.
I have no clue who's playing tonight. They need two forwards (or seventh d man and a forward), and have recalled basically the top half of the Texas Stars.

Defending Big D thinks Bourque might actually get the nod, and believes that Pavelski could split time between the top line and one with Domi and whoever else they choose.
