Look at that WR long jump line. Can we confidently say that may never be broken? Watch that battle between Powell and Lewis sometime, it's epic. We run and throw farther than ever, but why have these jump records (Sotomayor's HJ record as well) stood the test of time?

Anyone know the splits on the 4x400. Our girls looked slow.

We lost on the women's legs. They're running their best ladies and we're running our 10th best. It's the same on the men's side but our 10th best 400 runner is usually just as good as their best 400 runner.

The 400 is fine. The problem is they are running other events as a primary.

We might need her for the 4x100 and 4x400 though! We should have used Talitha Diggs of Florida since she probably won't run the 4x400 final! Since it'll most likely be Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammed, Athing Mu, and Abby Steiner… we could have also used Shamier Little, Kendall Ellis, or Britton Wilson.

Yes I agree they should have Diggs on the anchor. They give away the gold medal by letting Simon run the anchor leg. Even Jonathas might have run a better final leg.

Little would have been my choice for that relay. She showed last year she's got the flat speed to do it.
