Now 5 losses.
"I'm sure that won't make a bit of difference for those of you who enjoy a baseless rage over the decisions of a few teenagers."
Now that they are sitting at 5 losses on the season (3 in a row, 4 of 5 and 5 of 7), how does the season go if (when) they exceed 10 losses? This is just more fodder for why preseason polls are useless.aginlakeway said:
Now 3 losses already for Texas.
As predicted, anything under 10 losses would be an amazing season for Texas.

Would take a 33-5 finish. Amazing, indeed.aginlakeway said:carl spacklers hat said:Now that they are sitting at 5 losses on the season (3 in a row, 4 of 5 and 5 of 7), how does the season go if (when) they exceed 10 losses? Yep. And as of now, JUST 10 losses would be am amazing season.
Definitely the greatest one to have a catcher on camera drinking during a game, to have lost 4 of their last 6 games (including the series to the gamecocks), are .500 in their last 10 (pre-season) and almost got swept by Texas State. The incredible dominance is amazing, from a historical perspective, just as some, including 'some' experts predicted.joshpettett said:
Damn near undefeated.
This is certainly the greatest baseball team of all time.
LOL, would be curious how y'all feel about your predictions at this point.emando2000 said:aginlakeway said:KSigAg12 said:
Can someone who follows the broader scope of college baseball closer than me break down how they are so good this year? It had seemed in 19 and 20 they were struggling and were ready to fire Pierce. Did they just have a couple of down years due to youth? I know in 21 they made their run to Omaha on pitching and it looks like their staff is really good again this year
Recruting. I'd be stunned if they don't make a run in Omaha again this year.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had an undefeated season.
I’ve honestly never seen anything like this in my life.

A Texags prediction that will live in infamy.

Just waking up from a bachelor party weekend. Sorry for not replying earlier, I was doing guy things instead of message board stuff…my bad! Hopefully y'all understand. Also, understand this, I hate the sips…probably more than you. When I made the claim they had just walked through sec competition. Now they don't look great. I was wrong. I've already admitted it & im glad I was wrong.
Elite moment. Elite call.

And, to exactly no one's surprised, tu is now the top rated 9-loss team after going .500 this week in the latest D1 baseball rankings.

14-2 final. LOL. Now 26-13, but still a 'top 10' program.Quote:
This is the worst we've looked in a long long time. Going back to 2019. Just awful.

Led 7-0 after six today. Gave up a ten spot in the seventh. Lost 10-8. Wow.
