I agree we need more bullets but from the team that qualified we did really good. We place 5th and was the second ranked SEC team behind Tennessee (3rd)
We need to get back scoring in our traditional scoring events like the 200m, triple jump, long jump and pole vault. Invest in one or two top distance runners and short hurdlers. We can also add scoring in the shot put in upcoming seasons.

Reports are saying Lanae Tava-Thomas has left USC and moved to Austin, not sure if she'll train professionally there or become a longhorn, I heard her grad program at Texas will allow her to enroll during spring

Hopefully Landon Helms can come in and be in the 17's next year and Shot Put will have a mass exodus at the top of seniors so Bryce can score as well! Maybe if we try a little more and see improvements from Hoffpauir and Cawthra we can get a DMR in too! We need a jumper badly!

She needs a better start. Strong finisher but lacking that initial burst compared to the others which hurts her indoors. I think she'll do better outdoors.

18 points less, further back from a team title, and nowhere near as dominant as she was last year and the track world has noticed. I actually feel kind of bad. Tyra is one of the top multi eventers in the world, and was being told by the sip coach that in doing so A&M was overusing her, and she believed them. Hopefully the year isn't a waste for her, but so far transferring has been a really idiotic decision on her part. I hope she gets back to her old ways but watching her this weekend, she's nowhere near the athlete she was last year, less speed and less bounce. She can social media and smile all she wants but I hope she realizes she needs to get out there in the heptathlon and work cause she's not close to the World Championship standard.
