Thank you for joining Texags yesterday to come and try to defend Tyra. I think we all have move on from Tyra and her actions spoke louder than words and it's just my view but she is not a true Aggie with her lies and deception.

She also had a team and many coaches counting on her while she lied and pretended to be a part of the team for a whole semester and into January. Many young Aggie fans looked up to her, and my little cousin who loves track and loved Tyra was devastated over the news. She's showing everyone that loyalty does not exist. But keep defending her, go wear an orange shirt and cheer her on all you want. There's over 100 Aggies on our roster that I'm gonna give my support to and cheer for with my all heart. They deserve it. And lmao she was not the most involved, Julia Black, Jaevin Reed, Patrick Johnson, Kennedy Smith and others were definitely WAY more involved lol.

Listen you keep saying there is more to the story and now you are saying you know what the academic advisors and teammates saying but the coach said he was surprised which meant whatever the issues it was there is a way to deal with it. I spent many years at Texas A&M and had many bad experiences but that can't take away the value and the impact the university made on my life and great friendship and loyalty. So if you have information and choose not to share it and keep saying there is more to the story just leave us to focus on true Aggies. If something happened there are ways to deal with it, not how she did and just ran down to Austin. As I said in another post just prepare to hear all the bad stories and bad experiences from her mouth pieces.

She got 2nd in 2019 in the Hep and 8th in high jump if I remember, and then scored 1 point nationally prior to that in 4 championships. Lol why would she have left early lol. She clearly vastly improved here though thankfully. To bad she's going to a coach who's known to wear down athletes though, which is exactly what she does not need but oh well she fell for Flo the Snake's trap like others have. Also the few athletes I've talked to didn't share the same sentiment lmao, in fact the complete opposite. Many felt betrayed and I could only imagine how her coaches felt, especially after they did so much for her the past 4.5 years (plus a couple weeks of January before she bailed) both physically and mentally. Let's hope Coach Flo the snake has her best interest at heart, I've heard stories from current and past athletes of him and yikes, I'll pray for Tyra even though she betrayed me and other Aggie fans. And like I said in another thread, it's not the transfer that hurt... it's the timing, the betrayal, the stupid article, her cowardice to announce it, and her leading the people who stood by her (teammates, coaches, fans, school) on by claiming she was going to be a part of the 2021-2022 Aggie track and field team, when asked why she came back she gleefully said because "I'm an Aggie for life." But she should've said "I'm an Aggie for 4 more weeks then i plan on betraying them just when the season begins because I have no respect for my coaches, teammates, school, and Aggie fans everywhere." You're not gonna change our mind whoever you are, we stood by and cheered on Tyra like crazy for 4.5 years and defended her with all our hearts, but she clearly could give a rats ass about us as she has shown with the transfer and antics/games leading up to it. She knew for weeks and was playing with us and teasing us fans about it, it was such a low class move. She didn't just lose Aggie fans, many coaches/athletes/fans in track circles in State and nationally were turned off by the distastefulness and antics she portrayed. This was not a great move, let's hope Agents and Brands in the future don't see it that way because why would they rely/want a dishonest and unloyal person who will leave them whenever. I'm done replying to you on this topic, but feel free to join us in support of our CURRENT Aggies who are competing today or go support Tyra as an alternate on the 4x400 for the Longhorns (oh yeah just another trashy move by Flo). Good day to you.

you're saying there are ways to deal with it without knowing anything except what's for what's being made public. Go take a look at What happened to Fred Kerley, Brazier, and Watson when they left….. there's a reason why Professionals rarely train at A&M. Just pin this forum and come back in about 7 months( possibly sooner). The important question to ask is why would she want to leave in the first place? The reality is we owe her a thanks for everything she did and playing a pivotal role in building our jumps resume/program. She told them earlier she was leaving, and they know it….. I'll say this, just consider that current Aggie track athletes can join TexAgs as well……

Go talk to the coaches not us. This is the wrong place to vent. You started off as you were a football guy and then went on to know quite a lot about what her academic advisors and teammates are are saying. Now you know everything about track and field and what happen to Fred, Watson and others. Talk to the coaches and just leave us fans alone and give us a break. No where is perfect. Let the Athletes join Texags and let me read our views on what we fans are saying and we are supporters that pay to support the team. Doesn't sound like you are Aggie based on your very lies and deceptive comments on this thread. Again if there is a problem that you know about go and talk to the head coach about things, don't come and throw words for the fans.

Idk who Chanel is, I don't know who "MR. Gittens" is I'm just an Aggie football guy who got roped into track when Tyra started competing and I got involved and started questioning things. I unlike some of you wish all Aggies especially Aggie Alumni the best and even though I don't fully understand her decision but just like with the coaching situation that unfolded with Kyler Murray I'm sure this is a similar situation. Logic tells me she probably wanted to stay and train as a pro but wasn't presented with that option so she went to where she could… I'd bet anyone $500 that she won't even be a multimore given how much damage was probably done to her body over the last four years carrying the team on her back. Not trying to argue I just don't like Aggies only caring about other Aggies only when We see it beneficial to us, seems kinda tribalistic and disingenuous.

Thanks and gigem

What silly logic?

and who only followed Aggie track cause of Tyra yet brings up athletes who were here before Tyra and apparently knows the thought and feelings of other track athletes and the Track advisors lmao. The 9-1 season, the orange bowl, the recruiting classes, Achane running track, our number 1 signing class, Manziel, Myles Garrett, the Sumlim/QB drama, QB battles, none of that excited him enough to make an account here lol just decided to make it the second Tyra betrays us...

Or maybe she went somewhere with another world class coach who just so happens to unfortunately coach the weirdos in Austin. Listen I can't stand Texas either but that disdain doesn't extend to Aggies past and present. If you go TALK to the actual teammates you'd see there's something fishy going on that's not on her end. I'd be surprised if There wasn't a major coaching change in the next three years. I get y'all don't believe some rando on the Internet but if y'all are that convinced take my bet. If the rumors are true she's not going to Multi anymore due to some untreated injury that happened here. Honestly we're all mad at the same thing that she left, I'm just hesitant to attribute blame based on what's being said by athletes themselves. What really makes me mad is why our strategy has been to rely on a few great athletes to support the team. What the heck are Arkansas and the tsips doing better than us recruitment wise? I wasnt a huge track fan then but I want us to get back to the early 2010's glory days of accomplishing team titles.

He started off as a regular football guy.
He started following track because of Tyra.
He knows what the academic advisors and teammates are saying
Then he knows what happened to Fred Kerley, Brazier, and Watson when they left

I'm an Aggie who loves Texas A&M and everything we say we represent. I'm an Aggie who doesn't let Aggies around me boo and yell profanities at football games. I'm an Aggie who attended every Muster while in school. I'm also an Aggie who is open to the idea that maybe there's more to a story than what's been made public which the Murray situation taught me. Hey give me all the bad bull and call me a 2%er all you want if In a couple weeks she competes as a multi. I'll put on a burnt orange dunce cap myself and die on the inside lol.

Yikes if that's true it is sad, I didn't see anything that he said fighting anyone who said anything, and frankly she's not my type due to various reasons. But I want to be clear I'm not defending her if these rumors are proven false I'm merely saying we should take a step back before drawing conclusions purely based on the inconsistencies in what athletes are saying and what coaches are saying. It literally does not make sense that teammates would publicly support someone they viewed as a traitor. Like i said crucify me if she's a multi. If she's not then what these athletes are saying is likely true.

My apologies for coming off that way, I'll do something useful to fix the situation instead of commenting online, I only commented because someone asked if anyone knew what's going on and the story that is still unfolding doesn't line up with the head coaches interview. No hard feelings.
