For all the drivers saying they hated it, it doesn't always work. In fact, I've seen it attempted a few times in trucks and Xfinity and it didn't fully workout. I like what Denny and his crew chief said, it's a tool in the toolbox. High risk with high rewards.

Yes, and Ross said in a presser that he didn't even think about it until the white flag and he just went into "why not?" mode. Listening to his spotter on the in-car audio, he was so calm, it was almost like they had planned it. But all he said was to keep coming when he got out of turn 4.
