Man, those two duels were pretty boring. I miss the old two car and long train drafting days. The 500 is shaping up to be one of the most boring in a long time. Sure do hope that's not the case, cause I look forward to it a lot more than the Super Bowl.

Prolly just the fact that teams don't have sufficient parts and back-up cars, so protecting themselves. But it could just be that the next-gen car, with a restrictor plate (if they still use them) creates a race where the only thing that matters is pit strategy.

I don't think they let them skate on this. It'll signal the other teams it's okay to modify the vendor-supplied parts.
