Interesting analysis out today from Track and Field News on greatest 100/200/400 combined performances using World Athletics (nee IAAF) scoring tables. Kerley came in 5th behind Bolt, Johnson, Norman, and van Niekerk. He has a good shot to climb as high as #2 in the next year. A little more work to do to catch Bolt.

Pretty interesting. He definitely is an all-time talent that just has been overshadowed in every race he runs by another couple guys.

They mentioned after his 2nd place in Lausanne that it might be time to let go of the 400m, which is a pretty incredible thing to say for a guy who made his name at that distance.

He likes to tweet about 42. I think he was working on speed this year and will go back to 400 at some point with the WR in his sights.

His speed training will definitely help him get there. Speed of the last 100 is the most critical for a 400 time.
