Someone has posted on the letsrun.com message board (place of many outlandish rumors) that A&M football will takeover the current indoor track facility and they will build a new indoor track next to the current outdoor stadium.
Curious if anyone knows anything about this?

I'm all for it, if we upgrade our (already number one in the country) indoor facility lol! Makes it easier on the athletes as well! I just hope they're diligent on the timing of it!

Hopefully they build the parking garage at Reed at the same time. The weekends with an indoor meet, baseball series, and softball series would be packed

Yes, new indoor football facility and 3 practice fields. New indoor track will be great, and I am glad to get rid of the current indoor football and indoor track.

The original plan for the indoor track included a roll out turf field for football and other sports. There is even a giant hole in the ground for it in the west side.
