So what's the deal?

USMNT is playing in Gold Cup Final but also in Tokyo at the Olympics.

So WHO is on the respective rosters? Is it like an A team and B team scenario?

The USMNT hasn't qualified for the Olympics since 2008. They aren't there. Our best U23 players couldn't play in the March qualifiers because the play in Europe and weren't released by their professional teams.

Olympics is under 23 years old team, with a couple of exceptions I believe. So they would be different teams for the most part. But we didn't qualify for the olympics.
