The more I see Alaphilippe race the more I want to see him win the Tour. The guy is gutsy.

Um, those bike are at least $20k EACH... so yea, just a smidge more than $100k in damage. This is ridiculous. Probably the most crashes I've ever seen in the 1st 3 stages of the Tour.
Apparently the perp fled the country. I'm not entirely sure what the organizers hope to do other than make a example out of them.

They caught and arrested that idiot fan, but it sounds like all she'll get is a fine of 1500 Euros, less than $1800 US. The Tour has dropped the idea of a suit, but (at least) one of the riders is still thinking about it.

I've gotten that way ever since Floyd Landis got busted. I think of him whenever someone pulls some major watts out of nowhere. Hard not to be a little jaded.
He did win the Tour last year too. He's young, so it's "from nowhere" because he's new.
Last year might be more inexplicable because there was so much more talent in the field for that last time trial. At least this year you can say everyone else is either off form or dropped out
It was the 30 min effort that closed a 6:30 gap to 20 secs that did it for me. Either he is a generational talent or he's got a little something extra in his system.

Love Bob. I feel like Phil has been off his game this year calling the action remotely from London. I think he's finally getting used to it but first few stages were kinda rough.
The new guy Adam on the bike didn't sit well with me at first but everything he's said has been nails all week so now I'm trusting him. Him dragging his feet on the pavement at 75mph on today's descent was funny and hair raising.
