okay honestly I'm very very shocked of how much Taylor Swift they play! They even play songs that weren't singles and I'm like wow I attended the right school! A good thing is USC sprinters Annelus and Tava-Thomas have not looked good today! We will easily beat USC is Terry is the only one scoring! Cockrell, Terry, and the 400will bring in so many points for them!

LOL! I wear it cause I don't trust the people around me and have a sick mom! Also I'm afraid at the small .0001% chance I give it to an Aggie athlete and I'll be solely responsible for us not winning a national title I love my Aggie track athletes and football players too much!Ags77 said:

The American records are 48.70 in the 400 and 1:55.60 in the 800! Which one is Mu breaking first???

This might be a bad question...why is mu not running the 800?
no bad questions here! And it's because she's an excellent 400 runner as well as we just saw! And the events are back to back so she's only be able to run one at optimal speed. Running the 400 also helps us out nationally tremendously because USC and LSU will be our main competitors and they have no 800 scorers but have runners in the 400! So it's best to shut them out and get our points there! Also the Olympic trials is in 1-2 weeks after nationals, so having to run 2 800's at conference, here, then nationals, then 3 at the trials would be difficult in her legs! Doing the 400's is a lighter load on her legs, helps us at nationals, and ultimately helps her be in the best shape at the Trials!caleblyn said:

LSU gets 3 girls to advance in the 400 hurdlers! In 3rd, 4th, and 6th! They won't catch Cockrell, Meisburger of Arizona, or Knight of Virginia, so if they stay off the medal stand that would be huge!
Ok, I was thinking she had already auto-qualified for champs but i see that she has dropped 800 for 400 because the math formula is more favorable

Anyone know the camera operators or board operators for the broadcast? They did a terrible job on the distance races and relays. I'd like to give them some alternative ideas instead of the tight shot on the finish line when the lead runner is 3 seconds ahead but the real race is for spots 3-5 and we completely miss the last 70 meters of that action.

Based on what happened today, did our chances to be champions increase or decrease?
I say increased slightly or stayed the same! We did exactly what we need to do! We showed our 400 girls can compete with USC, now we need Charokee to get a medal and our goats Tyra, Athing, and Deborah to do what they do! We're in really good shape, but LSU slipped a little and USC did not mess up at all! I'm composing a list of the qualifiers for each schools at the moment!
I would need to take a closer look but my gut from watching that was our chance probably stayed the same and Arkansas probably took a big hit. USC probably increased a bit
