If I'm Kaylah Robinson or Summer Thorpe, or any runner for A&M I'm thankful that I have someone like Pat Henry fighting for me. He was the only coach who had the guts to do what was right for his runners and I love that! He knows one of their dreams of making nationals could have been taken away by Brissett having the chance to run again after being rightfully DQ, and he was going to fight for them! Just reminds you why were blessed to have Pat Henry.
Whoever approved the temporary reinstatement is where the issue is. They made a mockery of the officials and the false start rules and I'm told the tape proved it. This should have been squashed on the spot on the initial protest. That starter is one of the best in the country and, by the accounts I've heard, made the right call.
Don't think Henry was alone either. Heard other coaches also protested allowing her another chance.

Carter Bajoit and Jake Lamberth over 6'9 on their first attempt, Corbin along a handful of other athletes miss their first attempt! As we saw with Sean, we need to stay clean as much as possible!
7'1 will separate the contenders from the rest of the field! It's a tough height that not many of our athletes have cleared but Bajoit has been close! So it's imperative we have no misses leading to that height!

I think coaches of those who qualified all know Brissett would easily be in the top 12 of the finals, so they were fighting her re-running to help their kids chances
Both miss first attempt at 7'1! But only 6 cleared it

Lamberth misses his 3rd attempt and will not advance

Yeah one more cleared it after them, so they actually finished tied for 14th
Josh Brown is beginning competition in the discus, he is in the 2nd or 3 flights! He is ranked 19th, so like Sam Hankins a good solid day in his home throwing circle may be able to get him through! Would be huge for out throws program! Like the high jump I'll keep you annoyingly up to date lol
Leading throw from the first flight is 186'1, which is Brown's best mark this season!
A common theme in the first round, Brown fouls his throw!
Josh Brown with a solid second round throw of 180'0 to move into 6th! Needs to go 187/188 to be in a more comfortable spot!
