These guys must be training through this week, that's nowhere near Devin Dixon's best

A 3:06 time in an uncontested race for men's relay that consisted of Omajuwa Etiwe, Bryce Deadmon, James Smith, and Devin Dixon! A very solid first race time and can definitely see them dropping that to a 3:04/3:03 come Texas relays

I would like the confirmation of who ran on which legs in A and B teams.
The results is showing someone on the B team ran an opening leg of 44.15. Not sure if that is correct

1 Texas A&M
Etiwe, Deadmon, Smith, Dixon
3:06.33
46.13
1:32.41
46.28
2:18.90
46.49
3.06.33
47.43

2 Texas A&M - B
Miller, Mpoke, Orange, Hofferichter, Waer
3:11.89
44.15
1:33.85
49.71
2:24.07
50.22
3:11.89
47.82

Ciynamon Stevenson wins the Triple jump in 13.19m (43'31/4"). She only had one legal jump and 5 foul jumps.
LaJarvia Brown finishes 4th with a best of 12.41m (40'83/4"). She also fouled her last three jumps.
We need consistency from these jumpers and less foul jumps. Tyra and Acquah has been very consistent with their jumping (very few foul jumps)
Lamara scratched from the triple jump after winning the high jump in 1.83m. So she is yet to triple jump at A&M.
Let's see how they perform at Texas relays. There is normally a strong wind favoring the jumpers and most times the jumps are wind aided

The triple jump results have been updated after the event and now shows that Brown won with 13.19m and Stevenson second in 13.10m. I was following the event and at no time was Brown in the lead.
I am happy they both jumped over 13.00m

I don't really trust this timing contractor. A women 200m race was ran yesterday and was not timed. We have Owens and Madubuike without a 200m time. Supposed one of the athletes doesn't get to run again for sometime, they could lose an opportunity to make NCAA because of their inefficiency.
I am still waiting to see who split 44.15 on the men's B relay team.

Updated results on the website
1 LaJarvia Brown
Texas A&M
13.19m
43' 3"
0.0 m/s

2 Ciynamon Stevenson
Texas A&M
13.10m
42' 11"

The Aggie that showed the most today and is having a pretty remarkable '21 campaign is 6'3 "outdoor freshman" hurdler Connor Schulman a '19 graduate of Rice Consolidated in Altair, Texas. After a good, but unremarkable high school career (14.27 personal best in the 110 highs...27th best time in the sate of Texas) and a 9th place finish at the state 3A meet. Connor ran a fairly respectable 8.06 his freshman in College Station (did not make the SEC indoor event) We are all aware of what happened to last year's outdoor season.
Connor had a solid indoor season in '21 running consistently under 8.0 with a best of 7.80! In the super competitive SEC meet Connor made to the final and ran a respectable 7.92.
Today was his best effort yet! First time over a full flight of 42 inch hurdles Connor managed a VERY SWIFT 13.76! Very few top notch hurdlers run that quick their first time out! The rest of the Spring is gonna be fun for those of us that love the short hurdle event.

Not a bad 100m either in 10.81 for Connor. I think he could get under 10.50 in the 100m this season

It was a great first start and predecessor to Texas Relays! Carlton Orange running a 1:48.4 to start the year is just crazy, and I know Dixon is anxious to run an 800 as well! They are both going to be sub 1:45 this year! Brandon Miller looked strong in the 1500 and I bet he gets to the national prelims as well!! 3 800 meter runners in nationals would be insane!

Lajarvia and Cinyamon did great in the triple jump but had too many fouls, they should both be over 44 at Texas Relays!

Lamara Distin jumping 6 feet in the high jump is a great sign of what's to come, as we know we'll need every point we can at nationals!

Connor Schulman showed out big time! As you saw his indoor races he always seemed to be picking up steam towards in between the hurdles and finishing strong and I knew that would translate well outdoors and he's not done improving!

Achane is finally showing what he did in high school and I think with each week he's just going to get better and better! I can see him around the 20.3/20.4 range which could be points at nationals!

Our men's 4x400 will be back to being strong as always with Dixon anchoring!

James Smith and Moitalel Mpoke looked really good running the 400 hurdles and I can see both qualifying to nationals along with Dewitt Thomas! 3 Ags that can go under 49!

Texas Relays the meet of PR's up next weekend!

Anyone know what happened to Andre Turey in the high hurdles? Listed as DNF... I would assume either he false started or he fell... hopefully the former.

I would assume he fell because the website was listing other races as DQ's! I hope he's okay though, guy was ready to have a fantastic outdoor season! Our men's 4x100 team DQ's but don't how or why?

Does anyone have video of Achane's 200m win? He's already 2nd in the NCAA for the year and #1 in the SEC

I've been trying to find one but the meet was not live streamed, our only hope is the track social media team or a stranger to post a recording but the odds of that are small sadly! But he will be running the 100, 200, and 4x100 this Thursday and Friday in Austin if you live in the area

That was a great leg by Kaylah Robinson I guess she's an excellent sprinter as well! The ASU girl blew up the first leg leaving Zhane behind, but Kaylah, and Laila ran well! That's a great time even with the slow start and bad exchange on the last leg!

Turay quit mid-race.

Broome left the zone early on last leg of 4x1 so the stick didn't get passed. Really messy last exchange for the girls too. Both 4x1's will be much improved this year, especially once Yeboah gets added in. I could see the men running 38.

Stevenson won the TJ, not Brown. Totally agree the timing company was sub-par. There was nothing to write home about on our behalf in the 200 that did not get timed properly.

That's a bummer, I was curious to see a time on our men's relay. Emmanuel Yeboah and Ryan Martin are going to really contribute to this relay! I hope we can get a 38 as this would definitely help our chances in the team standings, do you know the order in which the guys ran and how they looked prior to the DQ? Thankfully we can see them in person or on tv this weekend even if Yeboah and Martin are still out

LOB I realize they made a mistake with the results and they changed it but didn't bother to post it. Even Aggie track twitter account had Brown winning and then had to change it.

Thanks for the info on Turay and the 4x100m men team.

Imagine the 12thman couldn't give a detailed account of the meet in their article by indicating that our men 4x100m relay competed but didn't finish the race. Andre Turay didn't finished because of injury or whatever the issue was and the women's 200m race with our 2 athletes running wasn't timed. Yes they highlight the good performances but there are many other athletes competing that at least could be mentioned.
Not even a recording of a couple of videos to show of the meet even it is from amateur persons

I get more information here on this forum than from the 12thman articles

Absolutely! Although Tyler Pounds has stepped up the creative and social media content, this meet left many Aggie track fans like us puzzled on many races and without a livestream or updates we're left to puzzle it together! LSU track usually posts a video from all their meets and that would be a cool feature for us who could only refresh a computer screen to see how we do! Thankfully this week's meet will be streamed and I'm really hoping our outdoor meets will be too! It allows fans and most importantly recruits an opportunity to see our athletes! Seems like we won't be back to Arizona for a track meet if the timing and recording of the results were this iffy lol. Here's to a good Texas Relays, hopefully the heat sheets will be posted tomorrow!

I believe it was Clark-Achane-Comick-Broome.

Martin is going to have to step it up if he wants on this relay. Sub Yeboah in there for Clark and you have a pretty nasty 4x1.

From the first hand off picture it might of been Collins, Achane, Comick, Broome. (6th picture on the slide show)
