These guys must be training through this week, that's nowhere near Devin Dixon's best

The Aggie that showed the most today and is having a pretty remarkable '21 campaign is 6'3 "outdoor freshman" hurdler Connor Schulman a '19 graduate of Rice Consolidated in Altair, Texas. After a good, but unremarkable high school career (14.27 personal best in the 110 highs...27th best time in the sate of Texas) and a 9th place finish at the state 3A meet. Connor ran a fairly respectable 8.06 his freshman in College Station (did not make the SEC indoor event) We are all aware of what happened to last year's outdoor season.
Connor had a solid indoor season in '21 running consistently under 8.0 with a best of 7.80! In the super competitive SEC meet Connor made to the final and ran a respectable 7.92.
Today was his best effort yet! First time over a full flight of 42 inch hurdles Connor managed a VERY SWIFT 13.76! Very few top notch hurdlers run that quick their first time out! The rest of the Spring is gonna be fun for those of us that love the short hurdle event.
I would assume he fell because the website was listing other races as DQ's! I hope he's okay though, guy was ready to have a fantastic outdoor season! Our men's 4x100 team DQ's but don't how or why?aggierun said:
Anyone know what happened to Andre Turey in the high hurdles? Listed as DNF... I would assume either he false started or he fell... hopefully the former.
I've been trying to find one but the meet was not live streamed, our only hope is the track social media team or a stranger to post a recording but the odds of that are small sadly! But he will be running the 100, 200, and 4x100 this Thursday and Friday in Austin if you live in the areaAntman92 said:
Does anyone have video of Achane's 200m win? He's already 2nd in the NCAA for the year and #1 in the SEC
LOB I realize they made a mistake with the results and they changed it but didn't bother to post it. Even Aggie track twitter account had Brown winning and then had to change it.Look Out Below said:
Turay quit mid-race.
Broome left the zone early on last leg of 4x1 so the stick didn't get passed. Really messy last exchange for the girls too. Both 4x1's will be much improved this year, especially once Yeboah gets added in. I could see the men running 38.
Stevenson won the TJ, not Brown. Totally agree the timing company was sub-par. There was nothing to write home about on our behalf in the 200 that did not get timed properly.
