Season started today. Great showing at TCU. Several ranked players on the team. I am excited for the new year. Should be a great one. I am hoping at least a Final 4 showing because I plan on being at the NCAA's Championships in Orlando this year.

Baylor beat us today 4-1 to take the spot in the ITA Indoors in a match that was supposed to take place 2 weekends ago in Michigan before we were kicked out of the state.

I don't think we used our best lineup. I didn't see Barnaby in the lineup. Plus we never do well indoors.

I don't buy the indoors thing. Yes Baylor has indoors, but they're slower than their outdoor courts, so I don't know how much of an advantage it was. That's not a shot at you or your comment, I just get tired of that being a reason we lose.

Also, I hope you're wrong on us not playing our strongest lineup. I haven't followed enough recently to know what that would be, but why would we NOT play our strongest lineup? Would there be a reason?

I wouldn't say it was a nail biter but it was close. The Ags won the doubles point and followed with 3 of the 6 singles matches first sets decided in a tiebreaker. There were 2 unfinished matches in the third set with one of the singles losses at 7-5 in the third. "Not even close" is not accurate.

Props to Steve Denton for scheduling a Florida trip since we are not going to the National indoors. Won their match Sunday and play again Wednesday. I'm sure boys are happy to be in Florida sndmissing our crazy weather event.
