For you guys who like racing you need to check out the Isle of Man races. It's a two week event where they race on a 37 mile road course around the island with speed of 170 mph. Maybe the craziest racing I've ever seen and surely the most dangerous. Two riders have already been killed this week.

Airs on VELOC at 10 each night this week.

I've watched that before. Pure insanity.

The crazy part is how close people can get to the riders in some areas (go to 30 sec mark):

Along the same lines as the Mexicans who line the trails for the Baja 1000

And most rally crowds.

I watched the motorcycle sidecars the other night. Going at those speeds with the sidecar dude hanging out sideways almost scraping the side rock walls. Insane.

How do they ensure no little kid or dog wanders beyond the front yard and into the path of these racers? I assume it's happened before - not even police tape or barricades lining the route.
