A&M competes in track at LSU this weekend in a fairly "low key" meet. Entries posted at http://www.lsusports.net/fls/5200/assets/docs/tf/pdf/20180428p.pdf
Still no Bob Grant in any event...the 2 time NCAA scorer needs a mark to qualify for NC's...anyone know why he hasn't competed outdoors yet? We'll need points from him in Eugene in June if we're to compete for national title.

The silence is deafening.
It seems that no one knows what is going on with the team and these athletes.
The fans follow and support the team all over and yet not a word or statement to your fans. If they don't want to disclose the details just say whether he is competing or not this season. Each meet people is just waiting to see him and others run and are then disapointment week in week out and no word from anyone.

Danyel White hasn't run since indoor championship. She is a potential scorer in the 200m and also run critical legs on 4x100 and 4x400.
Jaevin Reed ran a 200m last week and not listed to compete this week. She doesn't have a 400m time yet for the season and maybe out for the season. If she does run at SEC then not having a 400m time will put her in a very bad lane. I guess her injury has been pretty serious to keep her out of most of indoor and outdoors. We can only speculate at this time.
Audrey Malone has only thrown the Javelin once this season and again is not listed to compete. Again may be she is injured and waiting to compete at SEC.

All these three women are potential scorers and if they are out for the season, is serious blow to our chances at a top 5 or maybe a top 10 unless some of the other athletes do some exceptional things

Then there is Kadecia Baird who is just removed from the roster midway through the season

All we can do is wait and see because nobody knows anything

Has USC run a 4x400 yet during the outdoor season? They do not have a time posted to TFRRS

Steeple people set some PRs this weekend-
Rachel Bernardo won the 3000m steeplechase with 10:48.76 (4th all time) and Raymond Gonzales (9:09.04) and Zephyr Seagraves (9:09.11) placed 1-2 in the men's.

800 meter crew ran nicely as well- Sammy Watson (2:02.49) and Devin Dixon (1:45.62) won their races and keep getting those times in shape.

Shout out to Kristen Clark in the javelin for the PR of 184-4. Great throw!

While most track and field athletes rested this weekend in anticipation of next weekend's SEC championships in Knoxville, a few competed at Houston this evening. Top mark was turned in by frosh Gabriel Oladipo who threw 56-11.50 in the shot.

The May issue of Track and Field News reports that javelin thrower Kyrziasis has struggled this spring with a groin issue, but plans to throw at the SEC's and defend his NCAA title. He remains their "pick" to win the event.
