The upper cross of the halo looks like a nice place for a nitrous nozzle to discretely put nitrous in the air just before it goes into the air intake duct

Yep, especially in profile. The testing photos I've seen have changed my mind about them. Especially on cars on which the halos are painted in light colors.

The word that comes to mind is inelegant.

Mixed feelings about the new TV deal. I loved listening to Hobbs and Matchett, but I'm hopeful the actual video coverage will step up with some prodding from Liberty.

One thing I do hate: all the crashes in the new F1 ad running on ESPN. This ain't NASCAR, folks.

Insane quali for Lewis or poor drives by Ferrari? If Mercedes is that much faster it'll be a boring year.

Leave it to ESPN to total screw up the tv broadcast. Those two announcers were really bad and the overall production was even worse.

What a ****show of a race and a broadcast. So. ESPN is just going to rebroadcast Sky Sports' feed all season? I didn't watch qualy, so don't know if it was the same.

The VSC needs to be tweaked. Totally altered the outcome.

No one could do anything from behind. M both the Red Bulls were within DRS of the car ahead for 10-20 laps, but Max couldn't pass Alonso and Ricciardo couldn't pass Kimi.

Brundle nearly put me to sleep. Speed Channel/NBC really had something with a former driver and former engineer in the booth. Listening to them was an education every race.

yep, the change to ESPN was a disaster. the sky sports team were terrible.

also, the VSC deal was stupid as hell. i don't think we can conclude anything as far as the Merc car running from behind. Albert Park is just not a good track for overtaking.

funny you say this. the only one that i thought looked halfway decent this weekend was Ferrari's. in their Red, it seemed to flow with the car. the Merc looks horrendous with the black halo.
