No one on this team knows how to deal with the playoffs. The group is good enough to knock off Anaheim, but not when they're trying to get past being in the playoffs.

Same mistakes they made at the beginning of the year they are making in the playoffs. That's going to be our downfall.

It also doesn't help that we're making Andersen look like an All Star.

This is gonna be a slow crawl to playoff success for this team...my prediction

2015 Playoffs - 4/5 seed with a 2nd Round Exit

2016 Playoffs - 2/3 seed with a WCF exit

2017 Playoffs -1/2/3 seed culminating with a Finals win

He's played his ass off in goal for Anaheim, but Dallas has been getting off weak and/or poor shots. With the number of shot's they're putting up on him, there should have been more than 2 in the net.

Taking a step back, this team really shouldn't be in this series. The talent/experience gap is huge between these two teams. The fact that both games were decided by 1 goal shows this team is playing well, just making big mistakes at inopportune times. I've seen nothing from this team that shows me they are just going to roll over. The hurdles, being down 2-0 and fielding a lesser team, may just be too much to overcome.

I know it wasn't, but it seems like the last time I watched the Stars in the playoffs was in a dirty as hell motel room in Ballinger when they won the whole damn thing. This should be going better just out of respect for my feelings.

I can pretty confidently say that based on the core of the team, the window is more than just a year or two.

Our forwards are generally a very young group. Sceviour is 25, Benn and Roussel are 24, Chiasson is 23, Eakin and Seguin are 22, and Nichushkin is 19.

Granted our defense is getting older, but only Goligoski (28), Rome (30), Daley (30), and Gonchar (40) are over 26. Kari is 30 as well, but goalies have shown that he should be able to play for at least 8 more years (probably a minimum of 4-5 years before you start to see a decline in performance).
