Break points and the fighting off of break points is what builds tension and energy in a match. Didn't have many of those.

Really fantastic match today by both men. Roddick showed up like I don't remember him ever showing up before. Incredible. It's too bad Andy couldn't pull it out.

Great, Great match. I think those other 5 setters finally caught up with Andy. He just flat ran out of gas. No disgrace in losing to the best player of all time.

I really hope Roddick wins another slam. This has got to be hard for him to take.

Roddick should be really proud. He's definitely in spitting distance of the top of the tennis world with that kind of play.

If he was a touch fresher it would really had made the difference. He's in amazing shape to battle like he did.

Even though the final set was 16-14, I don't think this comes close to last year's Federer/Nadal final.

Yeah 16-14, whoop dee do. Straight boring 5th set. Hold at love, hold at -15, hold at love. Unreturnable serve, yada, yada. yawn.

Like watching a pitchers duel. Boring to some because there's no action. As the game progresses the tension keeps mounting because you know just one mistake and the game's over. I thoroughly enjoyed the match and thought the quality was high throughout. I kept waiting for Roddick to fold mentally but he held strong through lots of early adversity. Cooter, welcome to Wimbledon. Don't watch much tennis?
