Projected points are the current points plus expected future points. They are my educated guesses based on prior results.

Colorado gained another point with their third place finish in the 4x100 relay. I expected them to finish fourth.

Here is what I see happening:

100m = 10
400H= 8
200m = 14
Triple jump = 10
110H = 2
400m = 15
4x400 = 8 (though a very good shot at 10)

I only predicted these events based off of times and rankings. Some obviously will probably be wrong, but I just wanted to give you an idea.

Also, I have no idea how we will do on things like the 5000m or discus

McNab expected to finish third – did not finish the race.

Wow, I just don't understand the complicated scoring system in track........ for the Lone Star Showdown, are we in good shape for the men.....? Women appear to have it locked up!

We picked up only 1 point in the 110 hurdles.

Texas picked up about 15 in the 1500...I knew they were strong here, but did any of you have 15 pts. projected?

I don't like the way things are developing.

So 11 events are done in the scoring... how many events total are there?

Sips look like they are dominating our men in the scores right now- projected finishes updates please?

Expected 17 points in Women’s Triple Jump – got 18.

Women keep doing better than expected.
Men continue doing worse than expected.

Before the meet, on paper, men were 50 points better than Colorado.

We're not screwed yet...we have a considerable margin for error

Men started the day about 75 projected points better than the sips. Now they are only 35 projected points ahead.

However, no way for the sips to catch up.

Yesterday folks on here were projecting us to beat the sips by almost 100 points on the mens side. Now there's panic that they might actually outscore us. What a classic Aggie meltdown. Add this together with the baseball sweep and we have the potential for the greatest combined choke job in the history of Aggie sports.

For some reason I don't find all this talk about projected points comforting.

1500 should not have been too much of a surprise, Texas has the collegiate record holder in the event
