Kay's Takeaways: Arizona State 9, #15 Texas A&M 1 (Bryan-College Station Regional)

Ford & Co. in familiar spot on the regional brink
By allowing two runs to Arizona State in the seventh inning on Saturday afternoon, No. 15 seed Texas A&M fell into the losers' bracket at the Bryan-College Station Regional. Back in familiar-but-uncomfortable territory, Trisha Ford's Aggies must go 2-0 on Sunday to reach a super regional.
Kay's Takeaways: #15 Texas A&M 10, UConn 3 (Bryan-College Station Regional)
After dropping a game earlier on Saturday afternoon, Trisha Ford and the Aggies responded perfectly by beating UConn at Davis Diamond in the night session, 10-3. With the win, Texas A&M advances to the regional final, where the Ags need to beat Arizona State twice to stay alive.

TexAgs National Average Rating
The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an
industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes
publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services,
along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect,
which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.
The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of
how individual prospects rank nationally.
