Im not sure if it was discussed or if this rumor was dismissed but yesterday Target leaked a PS4 Elite Controller.

Just a heads up you can start downloading the update even though they are doing maintenance.



Update is 14 GBs. Mine says 80 minutes to download.

PVE
1st Public Event Completion (Gold) will give
  • 1 legendary engram, 15 materials, 15 marks, 5 motes, possibly an exotic shard, 4k XP, 25 Vanguard Rep.
Repeated Public Events (Gold)
  • 200 glimmer, 2-5 materials, 1-2 motes, 1.5k XP, green/blue engram, 25 Vanuard Rep
Also listed rewards for sliver and bronze but lets get real for a second...


CRUCIBLE
No more Legendary Engrams will drop post game but that will increase chance of Crucible Specific weapons dropping.
Beowolf, Cicero, Gilgamesh will drop in Crucible matches
No more Crucible Quartermaster bounties.
3v3 gametypes will give less heavy per brick.
Elimination will only have heavy drop at one central location.
Bunch of salvage changes
Rusted Lands, Crossroads, and Vertigo maps have invisible barriers added to keep players in the map.
Blind Watch elimination has the overtime zone moved indoors.


MISC
New Title Screen and Music (very Uncharted-like which is bueno)
UI Changes to Quest tab (now Progress) and includes record books.
No more Sterling Treasures from Crucible or the gifted one each reset (only can get them from Prison of Elders/Eververse)
FINALLY ALL 12 PLAYERS WILL BE ON ONE PAGE!!!!!!! NO MORE TABBING OVER TO REPORT THAT ONE ****** ON THE THE SECOND PAGE

Buffs

Exotics
Fabian Strategy gets partially reloaded after kills
Dreg's Promise increased damage by 8% and adds 3 more rounds to the mag
Boolean Gemini gets High Caliber Rounds
No Time to Explain gets Headseeker

Primary
Mid RoF Auto Rifles 1.5% damage increase
High/Mid-Low RoF Shotguns 2% damage increase
Lyudmila-D Pulse Rifle has increased RoF
Mid RoF Pulse Rifles (Nirwen's Mercy type) 2% damage increase

Special
Immobius reduced shotgun spread
Sidearms are all around better (stability & damage increases)

Heavy
High RoF Machine Guns had a 4% damage boost
Cluster Bomb perk on Rocket Launchers has an increased spread after detonating.




Nerfs

Exotics
Universal Remote's exotic perk's range bonus is reduced by 75%
Thorn's range decreased 25%
Touch of Malice nullifies Blessing of Light (my understanding of how they worded it)

Primary
High RoF Auto Rifles (Doctrine type) decreased magazine size

Special
All Snipers flinch effects are increased and exponential.
  • Mid-High Impact Sniper Rifles (1000/Longbow type) 7% damage reduction
  • LDR/Longbow reduced Target Acquisition

Heavy
Grenade and Horseshoes Perk on Rocket Launchers had a detonating range reduced by .3 meters.
