well, they're made by Rolex, use cheaper movements, and Rolex's founder described them as the "more affordable watch brand". Other than that...totally off base remark!

To me a Tudor is worn by someone that doesn't want to have the same Submariner that everyone else at the 10am meeting has on. Just because the watch is cheaper doesn't make it a poor mans Rolex.
That would be like saying every watch with an ETA movement is the same watch.
Or that every Omega is a poor mans Rolex and every Tag is a poor mans Omega. It just is not true.

I just think it's a crappy thing to say to someone that is wearing a great watch. I would never make fun or poke fun at a mans watch. Wether it be a $5 Casio or a $100k Patek everyone has a reason for why they picked that particular timepiece.

If you don't want to wear the same Rolex everyone else has, why not buy a different brand with a decent movement?

Because what's not to love about the first titanium watch to ever come out of a Rolex factory with their attention to finish, ceramic bezel, crazy lume, rock solid movement, ingenious clasp, extra rubber strap, and very little unwanted attention except from a trained eye? It's the perfect anti-bling quality timepiece for me. I couldn't recommend it more highly. The new model might appease the movement snobs in the room, but I like having the original.

I hope to own a Tudor and a Rolex some day.
