I usually change up the strap/bracelet every couple of months and it feels like a whole new watch. Natos are comfortable and cheap, so you could have a nice little collection for about $50.

I can't believe this thread has taken off! I love seeing everyone watches. My dad and I purchased matching Rolex GMTs one day and so this particular watch means something a little extra to me.

My wife bought this Baume & Mercier for me back in '97:


Since I have 2 sons to inherit my crap, I bought a 2nd watch a couple of years ago.

The Frederique Constant cost a little more than the Baume & Mercier, but neither of these watches cost much more than $1000. That's just about what I'm willing to spend on a watch, regardless of how much money I make. Reasonably nice. Not cheap, but not expensive.
