I always think that one day I'd like to buy a Daytona. Then I think that I'd also like to buy a new roof or a new kitchen.

if you have big wrists, the daytona's wear pretty small and are actually fairly unimpressive.

I like the new limited edition speedy moonphase but they're getting a little ridiculous with the prices. I will say if I had the money I'd buy a Snoopy moonwatch in a heartbeat.

Exactly. If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way. A Submariner has always been the watch to me. I've wanted one for as long as I can remember. When I got my first job out of A&M, I started putting $50 per paycheck into a separate savings account just for it. Within about 6 years, I had enough to buy it, but put it on hold due to buying a house, and then buying an engagement ring. About a year after getting married, I pulled the trigger.

For my Omega, I got a nice promotion at work and used some of my bonus to buy it (which happened to be the only bonus they gave out in my time there and I'm thankfully not there anymore) rather than take a vacation and drink it away.

Prices are getting ridiculous. I love the new Pepsi GMT, but it's only available in white gold, which means it cost about as much as a nice car.
