Despite scoring early goals in both the first and second halves, Texas A&M somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in a 3-2 loss at Texas State on Wednesday night. Mental mistakes in the final 15 minutes dealt the Aggies a major non-conference blow.
Late lapses lead to 3-2 loss in San Marcos
For the first time in program history, Texas A&M soccer has lost to Texas State as the Aggies conceded goals in the 79th minute and 87th minute. Sitting at 1-2 early in the season, Bobby Shuttleworth & Co. will return to Aggieland for Saturday's home opener at Ellis Field.
