On the second day of the Judi Garman Classic in California, No. 17 Texas A&M softball suffered an extra-inning loss to Weber State in the opener of a Friday doubleheader before downing host Cal State Fullerton to move their 2024 record to 18-2 through 20 games.

Emiley Kennedy was brilliant in the circle yet again as No. 18 Texas A&M opened the Judi Garman Classic with a 6-0 victory over Michigan. In the Aggies' second game on Thursday, the Maroon & White bludgeoned Long Beach State in a six-inning run-rule, 16-7.
