El Paso native James Hernández is a Communication major graduating spring of 2023. James joined the TexAgs crew in fall 2021 as an intern and now works as a writer and publisher. When James isn’t working for TexAgs or the Industrial Assessment Center, you can find him developing film in his makeshift darkroom, playing bass or reading. James also manages and produces an independent international arts publication that has been distributed to 14 countries since 2021 and was a featured contributor for Texas Highways Magazine’s September 2022 issue.

For the first time in his career, Tyrece Radford has earned Southeastern Conference Player of the Week honors after guiding Texas A&M to wins over Missouri and ranked Tennessee. Leading the Aggies in scoring, the Baton Rouge native recorded 49 points on the week.

Texas A&M is represented by freshmen Taurean York, Rueben Owens and Chase Bisontis on the 2023 Freshman All-Southeastern Conference Team. This marks the third consecutive season the Aggies landed at least three players on the All-Freshman Team.

Texas A&M selected to play Oklahoma State in the Texas Bowl
For the 43rd time in program history, Texas A&M is bowling after being selected to participate in the 2023 TaxAct Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State in Houston. The Aggies are 20-22 all time in bowl games, last defeating North Carolina in the 2021 Orange Bowl.
