Texas A&M women's basketball is back in the NCAA Tournament after a two-year absence, facing off against six-seed Nebraska. The Aggies roster has little NCAA Tournament experience, however, A&M head coach Joni Taylor is making her fifth appearance in March Madness.

In just her second season at Texas A&M, Joni Taylor's Aggies are a No. 11 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face No. 6 seed Nebraska on Friday night in Corvallis, Oregon. On Monday morning, Taylor, Maliyah Johnson and Sahara Jones addressed the media.

Texas A&M women's basketball was off during the midweek, but the Aggies return to action with a Sunday home game against Mississippi State. Ahead of this weekend's meeting with the Bulldogs, Joni Taylor, Maliyah Johnson and Aicha Coulibaly spoke to the media.

Top-ranked South Carolina left no doubt on Sunday afternoon as the Gamecocks handed Texas A&M its first home loss of 2023-2024 in a 99-64 drubbing. With the loss, the Aggies fall to 2-3 in conference play with a chance to rebound on Thursday.

With children from local elementary schools in the stands, Texas A&M women's basketball stretched its winning streak to six games with an 83-51 bludgeoning of Lamar on Wednesday afternoon. Five Aggies reached double figures in the victory as A&M improved to 8-1 overall.

Despite high-scoring outputs from Qadashah Hoppie and Kayla Wells, No. 25 Texas A&M slumped to 0-3 in conference play as the Aggies fell to Florida in double overtime, 97-89. The Aggies led by as many as 19 with 4:12 remaining in the third quarter.
