Texas A&M softball dropped the series finale on Sunday to Auburn, 3-1, now having lost the past two conference series. The Aggies' lone run came in the first inning off of Haley Lee's 15th homer of the season.
After getting run-ruled on their home field by Southeastern Louisiana on Friday, the Aggie softball team was able to recover nicely with multiple victories on Saturday. The Ags were able to get revenge and run-rule SLU while narrowly defeating Kansas to go 2-0 on the day.
Texas A&M allowed seven runs in the first inning to the Florida Gators which ensured a Friday night loss. Despite a hard fought comeback, the Ags couldn't complete the rally, losing 8-6.
The Aggies run ruled the Islanders to open up the Texas A&M Invite Tournament on Friday afternoon. Hannah Mayo pitched a shut out in five innings of work, and several Aggie hitters notched hits in the win.
The A&M softball team notched their second win of the day on Friday night taking down Northern Colorado 18-2. An offensive explosion propelled the Aggies to their second run-rule win of the day. The Aggies will play a doubleheader tomorrow at Davis Diamond.
